ACMG Climbing Gym Instructor Exam

  • Start-up requirements: from community discussions to engineering.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT:
    • Our certified staff can train your personnel - both prior to start-up, and as an ongoing service.
    • We can provide you with an Operations and Safety Procedures Manual, customized to your facility by industry certified professionals.
    • We can perform inspections on the wall and its components, including engineering inspections of the structure. NOTE: HPCW reccommends 3rd party engineering inspections every three years, regardless of manufacturer.
  • Our Purchasing experts can select the right combination of holds, equipment, and other time-consuming shopping details for your particular facility.
  • Concept Design - using 3-D electronic modelling and artist's renditions.
  • We can design and engineer the climbing structure and the building it's going into.
  • Route-setting - Professional setting to get your wall off to a good start, or to freshen up your existing wall.
  • LEED Projects: HPCW is committed to environmental protection and supports the The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™. For more information about LEED, go to the Canada Green Building Council website: http://www.cagbc.org/leed/what/index.php.

Since each project is evaluated individually, the role HPCW products play in LEED certification usually requires a discussion with our engineering team. Please contact us about how your project can qualify for LEED Certification.


What is Covered in the Lead-Climbing Staff Training Seminar:

Goal: To become proficient with indoor climbing gym operations to the level of Lead Course Instructor.

Prerequisites: Discretion of instructor, plus a lead-climbing background to the 5.10+ indoor level.
